I've got a terrible habit of starting creative projects (music, writing, etc.), getting stuck very quickly, then giving up. So I've got a rather sickly collection of bits of beginnings of things that don't go together. Except now they belong to a single, benighted blog.

The night sluiced softly beneath his footfalls while a crispness carried him along down the burlesque street.
I do postdoctoral cancer research at a private university and have a side interest in skepticism, especially where it concerns religion, evolution, and existentialism. I'm also a Bears fan. Go Bears!
